Agricultural Solar

Pump water with sunlight, and retire the diesel bill for good.

Fuel volatility and grid gaps make irrigation unpredictable and expensive. Our solar tubewell systems, driven by properly configured VFDs, deliver reliable flow at a fraction of diesel running cost.

Agricultural Solar

Irrigation that runs on daylight, not fuel deliveries

An agricultural pump is an engineering problem, not a panel-count exercise. We match array size to pump head and flow, and we configure the Variable Frequency Drive so your motor runs efficiently across changing sunlight, protecting the motor and maximising water output.

  • Zero fuel & low running costEliminate diesel and its price swings, sunlight runs your pump for the next 25 years.
  • VFD-optimised pumpingVariable Frequency Drives soft-start the motor and track available solar, protecting windings and boosting daily water yield.
  • Solar tubewells sized to your landArray and pump matched to your bore depth, head and acreage for dependable flow when crops need it.
  • Rugged, low-maintenance buildsCorrosion-resistant structures and sealed enclosures engineered for dust, heat and field conditions.

The Agricultural Engineering Edge

Engineered for outcomes, not just installation.

01

Pump-matched array design

We size the PV field to your motor's real head-flow curve, not a rule of thumb, so water output stays reliable.

02

VFD configuration expertise

Proper drive parameterisation delivers smooth soft-start, dry-run protection and efficient tracking of variable irradiance.

03

Motor protection built in

Under/over-voltage, phase-loss and dry-run cutoffs shield your pump from the failures that kill agricultural motors.

04

Field-grade durability

Galvanised structures, UV-rated cabling and sealed drives designed to survive rural dust, heat and vibration.

Common Questions

Your questions, answered.

Will a solar pump deliver enough water?

Yes, when it's engineered correctly. We size the array to your pump's head and flow requirement so it delivers full rated output through peak sunlight hours. For continuous or night pumping, we can design a hybrid system with grid or battery support.

What does the VFD actually do?

The Variable Frequency Drive converts solar power to run your pump efficiently as sunlight changes through the day. It soft-starts the motor to reduce mechanical stress, tracks available power to maximise water output, and provides dry-run and phase-loss protection that extends motor life.

Can I keep my existing pump?

In most cases, yes. Many standard AC agricultural pumps can be driven by a solar VFD. We assess your motor's rating and condition and recommend the most cost-effective path, reusing your pump wherever it's viable.

What about cloudy days or night irrigation?

For guaranteed availability we design hybrid systems that fall back to grid or diesel when solar is insufficient, so irrigation is never blocked by weather. We'll recommend the right configuration for your crop and water schedule.

Retire your diesel pump.

Tell us your bore depth, pump rating and acreage, we'll design a solar tubewell that delivers water for a quarter-century.
